The Chonta viewpoint, located in the Apurímac River Canyon in the Chonta Community, Limatambo District, Cusco, Peru, is a magical place privileged for observing and enjoying the charm of the Apurímac Valley, its vegetation, and the majestic flight of condors: the sacred bird of the Incas and the most representative of the Andes.

1st Start: Cusco - Limatambo
We depart from Cusco after breakfast in our vehicle via the Cusco - Lima route for a 2-hour journey to Limatambo.
2nd Limatambo - Chonta
We continue for another hour to the Chonta Community, where we’ll have a box lunch and then begin a 1-hour hike to the Condor Viewpoint, where we can observe birds such as:

The most important bird we observe is the Andean Condor, between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
4th End of the Tour
After enjoying this activity, we hike back for 50 minutes to our vehicle to return to Cusco.
